Our laundry room (partial) makeover. I'm getting pretty stoked about my cheery laundry room!

It all started with a stolen idea to turn my broken blinds into a pretty roman shade with this adorable fabric I found (thank you apartmenttherapy.com). Then the paint color was next- hubby painted doors and trim white (was off-white), walls went to a happy yellow. Believe it or not-we spray painted our brass door fixtures with ORB and clear coat (so far-not a scratch). The melamine cabinets were handy- but awful-doors were chipped with worn plastic pulls to boot! Found more cute fabric to cover the doors and hubby added the trim pieces + colorful ceramic knobs and ta-da! Oh, nabbed an old cork board and covered it with the same fabric and painted trim red; used scrap fabric for a valance. I won't be dreading laundry day now! Next is more finishing: crown, more coats of white paint needed and definitely new switches. Getting more ideas for the sink. I think the cats even like their new shared space. Simple and inexpensive solutions for a fabulous fix for my dreary laundry room.
