Hope Williams on Aug 30, 2015You could use slatted doors or cut openings for slide in vents. Like for air conditioning vents. Like the return in your home. I hope I made sense for you.Helpful Reply

Funnygirl on Aug 30, 2015They make slatted doors perfect for your ventilation needs.I would recommend that you do not purchase the the doors that fold when you open them, they always seem to have problems falling off the tracks, getting stuck, all kinds of problems I would insist that they be installed as French doors, that you pull open towards you.they will give you storage space on the inside doors and are much nicer and easier to use. There is information about this on Pinterest, look under French doors.Helpful Reply

Joanne Costello on Aug 30, 2015Ditto!! I have the folding doors and can't wait to get rid of them. I would suggest using a second hand 6 panel door and cut out the two bottom panels. Replace them with punched metal sheets that you can leave as the metal finish or paint. That would still allow you to use the top inside of the doors for storage or to hang your ironing board. Another option is to use screen doors or fabric where the screen would be. All would allow for the necessary ventilation. Good luck!!!Helpful Reply
