Nancy Nesbitt on Aug 29, 2015Re-purpose into a plant potting station with storage. Paint and pegboard will go a long way. Or paint and modify into an outdoor serving station for entertaining, or mudroom storage piece.Helpful Reply

The Redesign Habit on Aug 29, 2015You could modify it and turn into an indoor beverage station..coffee and/or tea, You could put hooks under the top shelf to hang mugs If you made into a hot beverage station, you could remove the bottom two drawers and the support and put a pretty basket in there to hold coffee, tea, filters, and other supplies. You could drill a hole in the back for the cord of your coffee maker, electric tea kettle, or even a blender to go through the back to plug in. Paint it to compliment your existing colors and change out the existing hardware and you could have a real showstopper! Post pics of what you do end up doing with it! Would love to see the finished product!Helpful Reply

Cindy on Aug 30, 2015Turn it into a bar. First of all, paint it, depending on your taste give it a nice pop of color or go shabby chic with it. Either paint the back a different contrasting color or use wallpaper. The middle top section I would put in an "X" made of wood, so that you could store your wine bottles on their side. To the sides, I would put the apparatus to hang wine glasses. On the top of the desk is where I would put all your other alcohol bottles and bar ware. The top two drawers use as storage for wine pulls, small cutting board etc. Take out the two bottom drawers and put a shelf that can be used for other glassware or storing other needed items such as sodas, seltzer etc.Helpful Reply
