How to Paint Rustic White Pumpkin Art

Though I love the traditional rich orange fall hues, I'm having fun with a more neutral palette, so today I'm painting a rustic white pumpkin on rough fence board.
I'm using a scraping technique with both a palette knife and card stock paper to get a textured multi color effect.
Hope you try it!
Next post, I will be painting a pumpkin on canvas.

Scraping Whites, greys, and tans make rustic pumpkin art
Could even use D rings and raffia for a door hanging
Warm grey, white, ecru, and gray mix for the board background
raw umber and ecru combined on the stem
Lay your palette knife flat and drag white and ecru/grey on curves
