Rebecca Bender on Sep 02, 2015You can replace things like that with new boards, or patch it or fill it with wood filler, putty or a mixture of wood glue and sawdust. Use Kilz oil based spray primer on particle board so the (wood) doesn't swell, then paint as you like.Helpful Reply

Jean Quintana on Sep 02, 2015If it's at the bottom you could use baseboard to hide it. Just frame out the bottom. We had to do that in one of our baths after the old flooring was remove and the bottom of the vanity was damaged.Helpful Reply
