I'm a sucker for pretty napkin rings, and I love making them myself! These fall napkin rings made with felt ball acorns are one of my very favorite designs.
You'll need wool roving (or you can buy pre-made felt balls online), acorn caps, metallic spray paint (optional), and grapevine wire.
I love working with this grapevine wire (available at any craft store, in the floral section). It's easy to work with, nice and sturdy, and is perfect for making these rustic napkin rings.
I just wind the wire around my fingers two or three times to get the right length of wire, then twist and shape the wire into an organic, vine-like circle.
Spray paint adds some glitz and glamour to the acorn caps, and then I just use a hot glue gun to attach my wool felt balls.
A little more glue gun action to attach the acorns to the grapevine wire napkin ring, and voila, you're done! Easy, elegant, with a perfect rustic autumnal look.
