Cabinet Door Coat Racks

I have a huge stash of cabinet doors on hand. I'm always looking for easy projects to use them up.
This is just one of the coat racks I made last week. It has a small shelf on top made from some molding.
These are the doors I got last year from a friend. There are only so many chalkboards one can make. I needed some quick and easy projects for my upcoming craft show.
The process is very easy using some scrap 1x's and a Kreg Jig. If your door is flat on one side, it will work best. If not, you may need to use a saw to rip off the beveled side.
I painted a base coat of black with my Homeright Finish Max, then did a dry brush paint technique with red, blue and purple.
Enjoyed the project?
