I Gave These Cabinets a Whole New Look!!

Before and after photos of a kitchen cabinet redo! The cabinets were so dark and boring....I got some trim and made a border around the edges of the cabinets to give the doors some dimension and character. Painted them a "burlap" color, distressed and glazed them with a chocolate colored glaze.
Before! Look at how dark and dreary this kitchen was!

The light color I painted them lightened up the kitchen tremendously!

After!
I painted the island a "garden gate" color and distressed. Stained the top "espresso".
