this is the picture of the trim on the garage door that is rottening it isnt big can i just cut this out and put a new

the bottom so that it is not in direct contact with the concrete.

On my garage door on the trim at the very bottom it has a rotten spot about 6 inches can u just cut the bad wood off

and not replace the whole thing.

It is the side trim on the house for the door
