Dresser turned Vanity

We bought an antique dresser at a thrift shop for $50. We decided to turn it into a vanity for our master bath. I painted the dresser and my husband added a sink and faucet.

Floor to ceiling curtains for less than $15

I have been working on my kitchen and last week I finally made the curtains for the French doors. I used a 9' x12' drop cloth and added a ruffle. To get all the details check out me blog! :)

White Subway Tile Backsplash with Black Cabinets

While everyone is lightening their kitchen spaces with white cabinets (which I adore!) I decided to keep my dark cabinets which are easier to clean. I wanted to brighten up the space ...»

Kitchen Island

This kitchen island started out as an old hutch that had been scorched in a fire. We took a saw-all and cut the top part off that had burnt shelves. Then added legs, painted it, then my husband took some scrap mahogany left over from my bathroom sink project and made a top for it. Coated it with mineral oil and voila!
