Our bedroom makeover

We had really neglected our bedroom after the kids were born and it became a dumping ground. We finally made it over and are so happy we did!

  • My fireplace in question

Painting: Would it devalue my fireplace to paint it out in white? It is currently gray brick.

We have built-ins on either side of our gray brick fireplace, and I would love to paint the fireplace out in white. However, my husband feels it would be a bad idea.

Cleaning & Organization: What's the best way to remove paint from window glass?

My husband painted the window frames in our kitchen and dining room without taping off the glass. Now that it's done, what's the best way to remove the paint on the glass? I tried Goof Off in one spot and it worked, but it got really messy so I wasn't sure if there might be a better way.

Thank you so much in advance!
