Hi Miss Sharon for the last couple of years I have been doing heirloom tomatoes suited for my
region with great success in containers. Here is a web site with some info from the University of Connecticut ~ http://www.hort.uconn.edu/ipm/homegrnd/htms/... there is a list of names that should do well in your area, some I have never heard of before.. Hope that helps.. let me know how they do.. Also start with a good soil I think that and Lime is what makes great tomatoes..
