We have no choice but to put a shower over our current bath due to cost but we have a window smack bang in the middle which we can’t move. Any ideas would be great thanks

silicone extrusion products work well in this situation-I'm not sure what kinds you have (i'm in NZ) but your favourite building supplies or hardware shop will be able to help you.

If the window is vinyl, there should be no problem. If it is wood, it has to be covered. We put a shower curtain over ours to protect the wood and it was fine.

Make sure the sill is angled ever so slightly toward the tub. Latex paint, silicone caulk are both waterproof if you apply a nice solid finish. Windows installed properly are already weatherproof, so you just need to protect the finish and prevent puddling.

Hello, hope this helps you out, Grab a tension rod and put a plastic shower curtain on it, put it up in your shower lengthwise to cover the window and keep it dry.

Hang a shower curtain in front of it with a tension rod. When done showering move it aside and open the window, weather permitting. Or you could use a clothes pin and clip it to the shower curtain on the parallel side and air from the window.
