William on Oct 30, 2016You can use a blow dryer to soften the adhesive. You can use a sharp putty knife and cut into the adhesive between the holder and particle board. There may be some damage you can repair with wood filler.Helpful Reply

Ljgordon on Oct 30, 2016Are they glued on (probably not) or screwed on? Look under the holders and look fora small set screw. Loosen and remove the holders. The screws should be visible now. They are either screwed to studs or backer plates. (Plywood between the studs to screw TP, towel holders, mirrors to.)Helpful Reply
