How can I clean this metal lamp?
I think it's brass but I'm not sure.
Start by cleaning it up with a soapy microfiber cloth after you unplug it. Let dry completely and then decide if you want to change the look or keep the current one. If you want to change it, I would suggest spray paint. There are metallics and some pretty decor colors
How old is the lamp? Do you know what type of finish it had when it was new? If it was brass, I would suggest Brasso, however, a picture of the lamp would be helpful so we could see exactly what you are starting with.
Do you have a picture?
Use a good quality metal cleaner, like Brasso or Silvo.
