I use clear antibacterial hand sanitizer to remove pine sap from clothing. Just squirt some on, let it sit for a minute or two, then rub it off. If not all removed, repeat until I comes off. Then launder as usual.

Dab the alcohol over the sap until the sap comes off. Add a little mild dish soap to another corner of the cloth dampened with water. Wipe the fabric to wash away any remaining residue. Rinse the white cloth, then wipe the previously sappy area once again.

Corn or canola oil and Dawn detergent will do the job. Rub in some corn oil and then add some Dawn. Massage the two together and rinse. You may need to repeat, or, for an item with a lot of pine sap, rub in the oil and let it sit for a few hours or overnight, add the Dawn and rinse. We run a Christmas tree farm, and this combination is great for removing the sap from your hands as well as from your shirt sleeves or the knees of your pants. Inexpensive items!
