Hi Cindy if its tile with grout (such as porcelean tile etc) then it sounds like the grout soaked up the cat urine. I would start by covering all of the grout with a paste of baking soda and vinegar and just letting it SIT for at least 24 hours. After that resealing the grout (and thus sealing in the smell) might be the best way to get rid of the ick.
Hi Cindy, We've always used Nature's Miracle and it worked like a charm. It's an enzyme spray that you can put down and let it sit.

As long as its not sealed - mix baking soda and water together into a paste. Spread it on the area and let it dry.
Natures miracle is the only thing that works on cat urine for me. I’d saturate the grout with natures miracle for 24 hours and then scrub it.
