How do you remove graphite from paint??

tried to make my hinges work better, got some of the black graphite on the white paint. I've tried everything I can think of to remove it and at best it just spread further, ARRRGG!

how well does graphite stick to tape?
I always used spray on vegetable oil, or just applied with fingers..... you tried goo gone or one of the krud cutter products from the hardware?
Not much you can do except paint over with some Kilz and repaint...which will probably mean repainting the entire door!
Is it possible to paint over it? That might be the simplest solution
Perhaps a Magic Eraser sponge. I've gotten just about anything off of paint, with one of those.
