Depending on what you want to achieve, the answer would be "yes"; now, I can tell you that you can actually use carnauba wax on practically anything! For example, on stainless steel appliances, it helps prevent finger marks and makes it easy to remove dirt, much like it would on a car. You can use it on wood and a number of things and it will protect and beautify. You must, however, apply carefully and fully buffing afterward. Don't let it dry too long before buffing because it will harden and be more difficult to shine it. Also, take care when/if applying to the floor, remember wax can make surfaces to be slippery. I would test in an area that is not very evident to make sure you like the results.
By the way, carnauba wax is found in a variety of Turtle Wax (car wax) check the label. Wax is also flammable, so make sure your tiles are not close to a fire source that might represent a hazard. Good luck with your project!
Hmm, interesting concept. If on floors, I would say no, as it would make them too slippery when wet. Not the same as the wax used on hardwood floors by ballroom dancers.
For countertops it is debatable. Here see what you think?
