Have you tried scraping off the wax, then using a rag with hot water? I also read tha WD-40 is supposed to make stainless steel shine nicely🙂

To remove wax from stainless steel appliances, you can try the following steps:

    1. Allow the wax to harden completely. This will make it easier to remove.
    2. Scrape off as much of the wax as possible using a plastic scraper or a butter knife. Be careful not to scratch the surface of the appliance.
    3. If the wax is still difficult to remove, you can try applying heat to it. You can use a hair dryer or a heat gun set on a low heat setting to soften the wax.
    4. Once the wax is softened, try scraping it off again using a plastic scraper or a butter knife.
    5. If the wax is still stubborn, you can try using a commercial wax remover or a mixture of equal parts vinegar and baking soda. Apply the remover or the vinegar and baking soda mixture to the wax and let it sit for a few minutes. Then, scrub the area with a soft cloth or a sponge to remove the wax.
    6. Rinse the appliance with clean water and dry it thoroughly.

Remember to be gentle when removing the wax to avoid damaging the surface of the appliance. If the wax is particularly difficult to remove or if you are unable to remove it completely, you may want to consult a professional cleaner.

Hi Pearline, hope this helps. Try heating the floor wax with a hairdryer so you can apply the heat directly, and then use some vinegar to remove the floor wax. Not only should this get rid of the floor wax, but it will give the kick-plate a lovely shine, too.
