Is the roof still under warranty? I would call the company first before trying anything. They may have the best remedy ideas for you
Rita, have you considered repainting it with paint made for metal? That would give it a new look and make it easier for the snow to slide off. Hope this helps. We did this to one metal roof shed and it helped tremendously.
The paint has just weathered. DesertRose has the right idea. Repainting is the only solution.
