I used this heart sign from the Dollar Tree but Im sure any Heart sign will work. You can remove the galvanized word love if you would like but you do not have to because I just used the back of the heart.

Remove The Twine hanger. You do not need to worry about the 2 little hole because they will be completely covered.

You will also need one of the Dollar Tree Self Adhesive Wall Tile.

Simply remove the backing off the Wall Tile and stick it to the heart sign.

Cut off any excess wall tile from around the heart.

Now paint the Tile Heart White. I did not cover it completely because I wanted a tiny bit of that grayish silver to peak through.

I used Waverly Chalk Paint

To add the Destressing I used Antiquing Wax from amazon. Dry brushing with Brown paint will also work .

I also Dry brush with a little bit of black paint as well.

For the Greenery I use this stunning Greenery that I bought for under $1 at a local Goodwill Thrift shop. I always tell others to not count out thrift shops because you can find some amazing items. I have also seen Greenery like this at Hobby Lobby and Michaels.

I cut a couple pieces of the Greenery to the size I wanted then hot glued them into place.

I placed mine at the top of the heart.

I made this cute bow using a ribbon pack that I got off of amazon. It comes with 4 rolls of ribbon. These two styles of the black and white check and the same style but in the black and red Buffalo check.

I simply hot glued the bow on to the Heart. You can make a hanger with twine or whatever you would like. You can also leave it without a hanger and prop it up on a shelf or on your fireplace mantel.

I absolutely LOVE how this turned out. I think it makes its own statement that's for sure. I hope you all enjoyed this tutorial as much a I did sharing it with you all. Thank you and I hope you have an amazing Crafty day.

Walmart used to sell them in the hardware department for backsplashes. They cost more, but you get a package of them. A little more expensive but not too bad.

Thanks for the inspiration! I found that exact heart at my Dollar Tree and I’m going to get crafty with it. Thanks again for the idea.
