    Good Morning Amy,

Would you have a picture to share of the flooring? Can't see it in the picture provided.

If your countertops and cabinets [love the color] are in good shape, I would leave them alone. Cannot see appliances or flooring. If old replace that. I would also replace the backsplash with something with a faint design. Nothing splashy because your cabinets bring the bling.

I would paint the cabinets rather than replace them. Then install a backsplash. Leave the countertop or paint it. New flooring would be last. Don't know what appliances you mean, have, and need to replace.

The Home Depot in the hometown Gallup, I was going to buy some crates to build an outdoor porch in the backyardigans!

Without more info about the age/dependability of your current appliances and flooring, it's difficult to provide good advice. I think your own list might be the priority list perhaps?

I'd replace those cabinets first. Since they are so shiny, painting may be out of the question because they may peel, even with proper preparation. While the colour is nice, it's a bit much for such a small area.

If you like the cabinet color, then just do a backsplash...

  • I think the cabinets are fabulous. How fun!! I would add a backsplash, replace the appliances, then do the countertop and the floor.

  • I think it depends on the end goal of the kitchen project. If you intend to rework the whole space, start with flooring. If you’re looking to spruce it up, go with a backsplash. If there’s a critical need on appliances or repair of sorts, that’s a good start point.
