@Renee No, it's not dangerous at all. You just cover the burners., and oven. Used appliance stores do it all the time. I did it to a house I flipped. The appliance paint is made especially for ovens, can withstand the heat when turned on.
  • If you want a realky quick fix, they do sell "magnet" type fronts to attach. I have seen them at both my local Home Depot and Lowes. I have never used or priced this product so I can't provide durability info. Hope this helps!

What do you want to do with your bisque appliances? I do know you can take your oven doors, dishwasher door and stove top to an automotive shop and they will paint them for you...I did that one time and worked really great......I have bisque colored appliances. I like them in my kitchen and as I replace each one, I bought bisque again. I do know you can still buy bisque appliances and some need to be special ordered. Never even thought of appliance paint.

I have always wanted to paint my appliances (well.. actually send them to the auto body shop) Pat May, do the auto body shop people paint the whole appliance, or only the doors? Also, what is another name for bisque? Is it an off white, cream colour?

I'm afraid to make a collossel mess. Is there a video? It would solve so many problems that have hit a brick road in my kitchen. Thank you kindly, bailey10034@gmail.com. Renee in Orlando.

Biscuit is the new lighter color than bisque. We had only the doors painted at the auto shop because rest of appliance did not show. Was built in oven and electric cook top. I think you could paint frig yourself. Friend painted hers red.
