Is it just two recliners or do you have a sofa and or love sear as well? Also will you be watching TV in this room like a family room? If it is with a TV and love seat,I would place TV wear it will not get glare from any window, then from there I would plce the recliners,if that's where you two sit across from TV and the love seat along the side if you have company you will most likely be talking not watching tv. If it is more of the family room as well as living room then I would place love seat across from TV and a recliner on either side of love seat facing each other but on a slight angle so as to see tv. They both are U shaped areas it's just a matter of how room is used and if you having kids and this is the only hangout spot in home. If possible leave space behind on wall across from TV so people can walk behind and not in front of people sitting there.
A lot depends on what else is in the room, but more than likely you will want both recliners facing the tv and/or the fireplace. If they are different sizes, put the larger one in the corner or open area nearer to the outside wall. The smaller one needs to be closer to the high traffic area since it will be better for walking around. Each recliner needs a small table and possibly a lamp, a throw, a cushion, and a pocket organizer nearby. Maybe a coaster and other creature comforts, and two remotes for the tv. 😅
If you also have a sofa, put it on the longest wall. Put a love seat across from the sofa with a big oval or rectangular rug between. But the recliners should be considered the seating focal point in the room. The recliners can be angled inward toward each other. Be sure to allow the space needed for the recliners to recline. They might be able to share a large table between them, but I still recommend two remotes. 😇💞
it is a little imposssible to answer with out seeing a photo and what else is in the room
