Can Mother in laws tongue plants be outside during Summer & Spring?

I divided a large plant into several pots. I live in Tennessee. Can these be outside during the spring and summer?

House plants can go outside when nighttime temps are above 55-60 constant degrees.
I grow Mothers' in Laws Tongues outside - they do well here is very hot weather. But they do not do well in frosts.
Yes, they do well in the spring and summer and fall. Just bring them in just before frost. You can take them back out after the last freeze around May 1st.
They will do well in TN until it starts getting cold. Take inside when fall comes.
how do you take in ? do you cut tops off? what if the top got frost bite can I save them?
