Can I use Rustoleum spray paint on a kitchen faucet?

You can try, but I live alone and even though I am "gentle use" on my things, it wouldn't hold up to daily repeated use in my house. Some may feel otherwise.

So how long have you been using this faucet etc. since spray painting it? I'm curious as to how it is holding up. The kitchen faucet I have purchased is brand new, not installed as yet so I don't have the issue of taping things off thankfully! It is a discontinued model … a REAL brass faucet w/chrome finish … a wonderful cross between retro and contemporary look. I was wanting to spray paint it an antique nickel finish to coordinate w/my kitchen light fixtures, but want to ensure it will hold up.
