Can I paint my popcorn ceiling?
I have been painting my walls and notice that my ceiling looks yellowish. Can I paint this ceiling as well? I'm up for any ideas
It would be in your best interest to cover or remove the ceiling
You did not let the ceiling dry enough before painting. Did you use a primer?
what did you use to take the popcorn ceiling down?
It sounds like you needed to let it dry longer and a primer first is always the smart way to go
And you should let that primer dry overnight before you put on your top coat also. Get a sander and buff it off using fine paper or a mesh screen.
like popcorn u eat or popcorn ceilings? If its popcorn u eat then i would use dawn dish soap with warm water then wipe it good then use clean warm water and wipe it off make sure ther isn't any butter residue left behind if clean well then use a floor fan turned up to dry spot over nite making sure is well dried the u may need to use sand paper to rough it up a bit and smoothe it wit fine sandpaper then paint it with the desired paint good luck👍👍
