I was going to suggest WD 40. Sometimes you just have to repeat what you have tried. I think "Lime Away" is good for rust removal. Read the label. Oil (like WD40) has to soak in, so don't wipe it off too soon.
hi dear. It sounds like you may have damaged the joint a bit. But you may want to look at getting some like you would for your smaller engine parts in a car. Grease actually. WD40 is a temporary lubricant. You need somethat will last. Also making sure you’re working it into the very insides of the connecting/swivel joints. It is okay to put excess grease on until you get it moving. You can always wipe the extra up later on. NOTE: Do not wipe up extra with soapy rag. Use a dry paper towel or dry terry cloth rag. If that doesn’t work, you may need to have someone come take a look at it.
Hello! I’ve seen professionals use a hair dryer and even a blowtorch to heat the rusted area. Rust will often loosen when heated. You can try a hairdryer. I don’t recommend the blowtorch. Would hate for your rockers to accidentally go up in flames! Good luck!
Try Iron Out but do in the grass just in case you have rust dripping from it keep working it, it may take a few applications.
