How to remove Stops on Kitchen cabinet doors?

The stops on my doors have become gooey/sticky and I want to remove them without doing damage to the wood. I need suggestions how to remove the mess and what to use to replace the pads/stoppers.

Goo Gone or WD-40 should remove the deteriorated adhesive. Clean the solvent residue with a little rubbing alcohol.

This is the bumper pads that keep the doors from banging shut, right? Any hardware store or Amazon will have sticky-back felt pads for this purpose.

  Thank you for responding. I was on the right track but thought I better put it out there since I was afraid of making things worse. I can't believe the quality of the cabinets are great but the pads used were awful. I have had cabinets that were over 20 years old and the pads were still good.

Use wd40 to remove and replace with one of the many different types from a hardware store.

Scrspe off old sticky pads, clean with Goo Gone, wipe clean and replace with new pads from big box stores.
