Remove mattress, lay plywood add short bookshelves & maybe a library ladder ?
remove top bunk...room will look bigger & student will feel like an adult in twin bed [without bed-overhead]...don't sell top bunk until student is 18, then can get more money for it as a bunk bed set while your student is away at college. ;) Use a repurposed 4 drawer file for their projects, homework, files & 'stuff'....once clothes/shoes put away & bed is made, spray fibreeze/lysol !! ;)
Ty everyone for ur ideas
