This is the vertical rectangle windows in my 3 bedroom. I always do floor to ceiling curtains to make the room look taller.

Measure the length you would like the Drape curtains to be. Bear in mind the curtain rail would need to be fixed above the window and finish below the window. Write that down as your curtain length! Now measure across the window and add 6". Write that figure down as your width of each curtain .. Now you have to look for the nearest measurement to these sizes on Ready Made Curtains........Good Luck!
If you are just wanting a curtian to cover the window, and not one that goes to the floor, you could place a curtian rod in place, use curtian clips -circles with little claws- I’ve used folded fabric, placemats, table runner, dish towels, etc.
1)Instead of a curtain u could make a cornice board to cover the top 3 to 6in., cover with either a paint color that's will pop or fabric. 2)If you really want the curtain, u can add a contrasting sheer curtain in the middle. 3) if u want to keep the middle section open, put a fun piece of art under the window or family pic in a nice frame.
