    drain out and the also keep the dirt in. and the baskets lasted several years before they finally rotted away. i found a coat os spray paint helped sustain the life cycle of the wicker

Another Use for a Bird Cage

After using my bird cage as a decorative accent I decided to put it to use in our kitchen...it now holds, herbs, recipes, notes and stores my collection of bottle corks!

    so not having drainage won't hurt them. i didn't think succulents liked having "wet feet"

    definitely add shutters and consider painting the house on that end. perhaps a kahki color ...»
