That is what we were thinking SawHorse, the kitchen get's wet from things being spilled,
grandbabies dropping food and drink. With it being one solid peice on the floor we thought there would be less chance of liquid getting inbetween planks and warping. I like how it holds up to the pups. I have a year old great dane and two small dogs and Zilla (great dane) has already tried to stop and kept going lol. That was the true test along with the grandbabies dragging their toys across it. All our friends at first thought we laid vinyl planks due to how it looks. We are thinking of doing the same thing in our living room. But we are thinking the vinyl planks for the living room though. Have you used that type of product in any homes? If you have has it held up real well?
I want to answer my question and see who disagrees.
MY answer: Hometalk has very creative people, vendors that know what they are doing &

I am new to Hometalk and I am all ready in love with this site. I have found lots of good
ideas on helping my husband and I on our remodeling of our home. Hometalk is a site for those of us that DIY and need help in our projects. You can not found that on Facebook or ask questions about such things without getting someone that is acting like a jerk.
If you are one of the millions that resolve to make big changes every New Years, but too often never get them done -- we have a MUCH better and more DOABLE idea! Whether it is clearing the clutter or fixing the flaws that have been bothering you all year, you can simply make some New Years resolutions for your home! Then, tell us about those resolutions here and one post chosen at random will get a $250 gift certificate to the Home Depot!

Our goal is to finish our kitchen, hanging the sheet rock on the ceiling and putting down new
floors. Second is to hang sheet rock in the living room (ceiling and walls) paint, put down new floors oh and replace on more window. We bought a house that was built in 1901 and she needs some love and remodeling.
