I am a thrift/second hand/vintage/antique/salvage store addict stay-at-home, work-from-home, father of two, husband, and bookbinder who has turned decades of interests and skill building into refurbishing furniture for my family and sometimes for flipping. I am also a Mr. fix-it around the house who believes anyone can fix anything with the right know-how and tools. We are always remodeling or redecorating and feel that life can be made beautiful even on a budget. We are trying to teach our kids that life should be a mix of brand new and gently used quality over quantity- and that you can MAKE the world around you beautiful if you work, dig, plant, paint, shape, shift, cut, or build it the way you want...AND....to not always Be the early bird who gets the worm but to KNOW the worm(good item) when you see it.
