Outdoor Living: Need Advice - Making Outdoor Bright Solar Lights Hanging Containers

I need advice on how to make homemade outdoor bright solar lights to insert into a hanging light holder. This hanging lantern/container will hang off of a planter hook from a deck post. I ...»
need 10 of them that are extremely budget friendly, quick and easy. I have some instructions on how to take apart existing solar light stakes but they are not bright enough. Any ideas on different kinds of hanging container ideas and/or how to supercharge the brightness of the solar light? All suggestions are welcome!

"Montana Rubens" variety. Brenda- I'm sorry I'm not that familiar with the SC climate, but around here in the Pacific Northwest, Puget Sound area, It's marginal right now. It is starting to get hot and not ideal for transplanting. Personally, I like transplanting in the fall. If you are planting from containers, you should be fine.

Ponds & Water Features: OK HomeTalkers What Would You Do With this Hole if It Were in Your Yard?

We have this here pond in our yard. Our thought has always been to get in up and running again ... but want reasonable and easy. As it stands I plan to clean it up, repair cracks, possibly parge coat the concrete and paint with a pool grade paint. I would like to figure if there is someway to consider fish, but as I understand it fishies don't like the lime in the concrete. I am open to any and all of your thoughts. thank you. ~jb
