  • This was an easy weekend project!
  • You'll need (7) 8 foot cedar boards.
  • You'll also need a box of wood screws, and then a few power tools & other supplies. You can find the entire supply list over on my blog.
  • We cut out all of our boards first. You can get the measurements we used over on my blog.
  • Then we assembled each trough like this with the wood screws.
  • Check out my blog post to see how we attached the troughs. Here's what our herb garden looked like completed.
  • Then we planted our herbs.
  • We love our new herb garden!

  • My porch is my favorite room in the house.
  • I found this old basket at the flea market.
  • I change out my pillows constantly.
  • My father made this birdhouse for me.
  • I stapled grapevine to the ceiling, and added lights and flowers. It is so lovely lit up in the evening.

unpainted furniture that I haven't gotten around to painting yet, and this dresser was the perfect fit for a tool chest.

We removed the bottom drawers and dividers and replaced them with two doors. This gives a larger space to store our bigger tools and still keeps them hidden away. After all the building portion was done, I gave it a fresh coat of paint and updated the door and drawer pulls. #BeforeandAfter
