I live in Quebec, Canada and a SAHM, though my 'kids' are all adults now. I was a dry pastel artist for several years, then got into scrapbooking and paper arts. I have since been involved in quilting (just a beginner!) as well and now completely hooked on home decor using upcycled, refurbished and painted items and furniture. I've started my own business, MRC Creations, that sells painted furniture, repurposed items and home decor. Hometalk is SO very inspiring and I love this community of creative people. We are semi-retired so enjoy some down time and travel to a vacation home along the shores of Nova Scotia as often as we can. We have two amazing Havanese that come along and keep us busy.
