Cleaning & Organization: Getting the smell out of my washing machine??

I accidentally left stuff in the washer overnight and naturally when I remembered, the machine and its contents smelled like mildew. I rewashed everything, but now the washing machine ...»
still has a faint smell of mildew. How do I get rid of it? Preferably I need something very natural and safe because I'm pregnant and don't want to use any dangerous fumes. Thanks in advance.

Painting fabric upholstery with Annie Sloan Chalk Paint

We painted the outdated upholstery on these antique chairs with a mixture of 50% Annie Sloan Chalk Paint in Paris Grey and 50% water. We misted the fabric with a spray bottle of water ...»
with each coat of paint so that the fabric would absorb the paint and not be stiff. It took three coats of paint, with about 24 hours of drying time between each coat. We stenciled a french design on each chair using Annie Sloan Graphite. The blue stripe was stenciled with Aubusson Blue. We then distressed and glazed the arms and legs. Home Maintenance & Repairs: My gas dryer stopped working! Help!

Even though I work for a home improvement website, I am an idiot who just overloaded her dryer. It stopped. My old (I have no idea what year, but it is old) Whirlpool gas dryer stopped mid-cycle, and won't start again. What do I do? Can (how?) can I fix it myself? Should I call a repairman?

  • Tool boxes just make the BEST floral vignettes!
  • Tell me these gorgeous yard cut fresh flowers don't look 100x better than greasy tools in this box...
  • It's also fun to throw a few quirky things in the mix, such as a jar full of buttons. Why not?
  • Just a happy little vignette to bring some spring or summer into your indoors.

Toolboxes are really for flowers... didn't you know?!

When I had a visit with my friends, I checked out their shed and GASPED when I saw tools in this adorable little toolbox. I promptly dumped out the goods and demanded an explanation! And ...»
just showed them what a junker would do with it.

And then there was the time I created a Christmas tool box vignette for them with a live beehive still intact... whoops! Check for beehives.
