  • Welcome to the Kitchen Fairy Garden II!
  • I used an ice cube tray, jello molds, a Rumford baking powder tin, funnel, measuring cups and old pot lids.  The fence is butter knives.  All vintage.
  • The plants are rosemary, German thyme, creeping thyme, sedum, and hens and chicks.

  • I used scraggly old plants that were looking pretty rough. All you have to do is snip the rosette with one inch of stem and let it dry out of direct sunlight. When roots form, it`s time to plant!
  • Use a cactus and succulent soil mix for the best drainage.

  • DIY Garden Head project 2
  • I started with a foam mannequin head, Magikote Foam Primer and Stone Metallic Spray Paint by Krylon. I named my head Betty.
  • Betty got two thin coats of primer. The primer seals the foam and creates a smooth surface to paint on.

  • Ick!  (I cook a lot... don't you judge me.)  ;)
  • Take the disgusting, yucky burner and seal it up in a big Ziploc-type bag with about 1/4 cup of ammonia and let it sit overnight.
