I have a small home in East Atlanta and I like DYI projects. The house was built in the '40s and is in excellent condition (I bought it in 1992). So far, I've opened a wall to a second bedroom and added a french door. 3 yrs ago a friend & I added a 3/4 bath to my bedroom (roughly 8X10). Last yr opened a wall in a small sunroom & added a patio door & deck. I don't do a lot of decorating, but I know what I like. My sister is good at it, so that's her job to decorate what I've done. I like working on Habitat homes. I like framing, installing windows, some siding & roofing. I'm not afraid of heights. I have a large yard, but I know nothing about trees & plants. My yard needs curb appeal badly. I wouldn't get into the back yard.
