Gardening: Japanese Maple Saplings up for grabs in Atlanta

I've got 2 (or 3) Japanese Maples that have sprouted in my yard. I've been trying to hold on to them but I honestly have nowhere to put them. I already have 2 in the front. My yard guys ...»
have tried to pull them up and I always tell them to leave them alone. I hate to just trash them. Anyone in the Atlanta area interested in them? They are pretty small but maybe someone can do something with them.

Lucky you! When we first moved to this house we purchased one from Pikes Nursery and it was ...»
promptly eaten by the neighbors goats......then it died. Goats are gone, neighbor is gone and a fence is up now anyway.

Beautiful! Our artichokes (Purple Globe) produced this year and we're leaving the final few ...»
to go to flower. We have high heat and humidity here so they don't normally grow well but I put them in an area where they receive afternoon shade and that seemed to help.

Like the purplish color. Mine have good wild this year, blooming like never before. Took ...»
them a long time to even bloom once, about 3 years before they started. Color can be changed by additions to the soil near the bush. Mine just come blue w/o anything added.

Easy to grow, easy to start from seed and grows like a weed once the heat and humidty start. ...»
By end of June ours start to climb and cover part of the roof. We have six Maypop 'Passiflora incarnata; all started from seed. Be sure it's a cold hardy variety unless you're in zone 9 or higher. Saw a few growing in pots a few years back in South Carolina.
