  • From left to right, ya gotta admit, this garage now has some 1

Its a bit daring, but every client who ordered a red epoxy garage floor has never been disappointed.

They are really a hot color that adds interest and excitement to the room. If ya dig it, how about a thumbs up!?

Cleaning & Organization: How do I clean rust and cooked on food off cast iron grill grates?

My parents gave us a grill last year, and they stored it outside and never really cleaned the grates very well, and my husband and I are wondering if there is a way that we can clean the ...»
rust and really cooked on food off our cast iron grill grates?

Is there a particular product or method for doing this. We would like to save as much money as possible.

Another suggestion that works for me is to treat your cast iron after cleaning it. I coat my ...»
cast iron with cooking grease or oil then heat it to seal the iron. Just rub a thin layer into the iron with a paper towel or clean rag then heat. Done regularly, this helps to create a finish that is less sticky while cooking, easier for cleanup, and helps to prevent future rust problems,. This works well with cast iron pans also. And just about any kind of heat will work. When camping, I just through my pans back on the fire after treating.

  • My husband built this Pergola for me last summer...complete with a misting system... He appears to be a professional builder, but in fact he's an Airforce parachute rigger :) 8

I have been creating mosaics on and off for a few years.

I recently relocated to Houston and left a lot of furniture behind so I needed to supplement on a budget. I visited my local thrift shop looking for a side table for my living room which ...»
has a dark teal as an accent color, drapes, pillows, accessories. I love geometric designs and came up with this design to match the decor. I paid $4.95 for the cute oak table. I hope you like it

Kitchen Table Refinishing

It was time to refinish the kitchen table.I used an orbital sander with 80-grit to remove the old finish/stains/glitter/marker/glue, then 120-grit to smooth it. I stained with one coat of ...»
Minwax Golden Oak, and put on 3 coats of Minwax water-based polyurethane, sanding with 220-grit in-between coats of poly. The finish would have been more durable if I had used regular oil-based polyurethane, but I wanted low-odor and fast drying, due to the fact that I was doing it indoors, and have cats and young children..
