  • To the left are the his and her's vanity cabinetry and sinks. The rope moulding along with the arches look great on the antiqued finished cabinetry. Each sink in the bathroom has its own point of use water heater for instant hot water. There is no waiting for the hot water to come in this bathroom. 5

Giving a standard bathroom cabinet a furniture look.

With home values continuing to head in the wrong direction, I didn't want to spend money on a new vanity. Giving our standard vanity a furniture look seemed like a good compromise. I painted the toe kick black to give the illusion of space underneath. Added legs and designed and cut pieces to go between the legs. I like a french country look, but for a modern look, you could simplify the design. http://plumdoodles.com/2012/04/16/giving-a-s...

Update on basement floor done by Amazing Improvements

We had our basement floor stained by Amazing Improvements. We finally chose colors and painted. We thought we'd post a photo of a section that's mostly finished but shows the flooring off. Feels homey to us and the concrete doesn't feel cold. It's been great with 4 dogs and kids. A good choice for the way we live.

LOVE this basement!!!! I design basements here in Minneapolis and I wanted to thank you for ...»
the inspiration!! I did have a question however....in the theater / TV room, what is that wood "cabinet" looking piece standing in the corner??? If it was a cabinet I would have thought it would match the rest of the millwork.......

    But simply gorgeous!!
