With home values continuing to head in the wrong direction, I didn't want to spend money on a new vanity. Giving our standard vanity a furniture look seemed like a good compromise. I painted the toe kick black to give the illusion of space underneath. Added legs and designed and cut pieces to go between the legs. We had our basement floor stained by Amazing Improvements. We finally chose colors and painted. We thought we'd post a photo of a section that's mostly finished but shows the flooring off. Feels homey to us and the concrete doesn't feel cold. It's been great with 4 dogs and kids. A good choice for the way we live.
