Spring to Life with COLOR!

Talk about 'Spring Fever'...Everything outside is Springing to life, yet my office was stuck in a neutral zone. So I got inspired, and changed it up in about an hour. ...»

Simply by using what I had on hand, happy chartreuse green details now punctuate the space... easy change, low cost, and BIG impact! I'm a much happier girl now that my office is filled with #SpringDecor ;) No big commitment here - no paint, nothing permanent. Just simple accessories that can be changed the next time I get a wild hair.... you can do this, too!

The best Hardwood floor advice you will get today

wheels, it's the sun and foot traffic that help the floors lose their once upon a time luster and shine. Rather then going through the process of resanding and restaining , I occasionally will use a product call reviver to help give back some some of the "newness" to my hardwood flooring. For a quick demonstration and to see the big wheel culprit , come visit me on my blog. #springcleaning

  • My Cardinals love this cute DIY Terra Cotta Bird Feeder! 1
  • Gather these easy to find supplies: Terra Cotta Pot, Saucers, Picture Hanging Wire, 5" Eye Bolt,2 Nuts, Fishing Swivel, Branch & a water bottle! Soak your terra cotta in water over night to make drilling the holes easier... 1
  • You have to drill several holes in the pots/saucers and to do this you'll need a drill with a masonry bit. After soaking your terra cotta and marking your holes, slowly drill over markings applying steady pressure as you drill. 3
  • The water bottle will be your seed reservoir- Cut the top off your water bottle so it fits inside the pot. Mark holes to line up with the drilled holes in the terra cotta...using an exacto knife, cut out holes in water bottle-
  • Now simply connect all the pieces with your eye bolt and heavy gage wire! The eye bolt goes through the water bottle, clay pot, saucer and tree branch-secure it with a nut on top and on bottom... 1

Repurposed Frappuccino Bottles

I dearly love Starbucks bottled Frappuccinos!

I found a way to justify my consumption!

#Love2Repurpose !

These glass bottles have clear labels that come off super easy, and then if you wash them in the dishwasher any residue that is left will come off during the ...»

wash. They look very much like vintage milk bottles....love this look.

We use them as drinking bottles...they look great with paper straws in them, vases...have fun tying burlap or twine around the neck to dress them up a bit...... we also use them for our collection of sand from the different beaches that we have visited.

You can leave the lids as they are...or spray paint them any color you wish. For my son's sand collection we spray the lids silver...for the collection above we just left the lids as they are because we store them on a high shelf. We then tie a tag with the beach's name on it around the neck.

It's neat to collect sand from different beaches and see the vast differences in each one. Some are dark, some are light, some are fine, some are course....if you have never been to the website that shows the magnification of sand.....by all means, please visit it here. It is amazing and so beautiful! We are walking on these lovely treasures!

So, find some Frappuccino on sale.....have a Frappuccino Party {or drink them all yourself, like me}......and have some fun with the neat empty bottles! #BeforeandAfter
