THIS ISN'T A DIY PROJECT BUT A SUGGESTION TO SHOP LOCAL THIS SEASON AND SHOW SOME LOVE TO LOCAL ARTISANS

Lets shop local for our gifts this year. We can invest in our community by shopping from local Artisans and Shopkeepers. We keep more of the tax dollars in the community too!

  • The completed shutters. Use clothes pins to help hold the cards in place.
  • The shutters before paint. Use wood glue to help keep your slats in place so that they don't flop around when you try to clip cards to them. A quick sanding and your shutters are ready for paint.
  • After the paint is done use a sanding block to do some light sanding and finish with a coat of polycrylic.
