Eye catching patio furniture

I installed this patio last summer, and returned this year to take some pictures for some promotions. I really like this client's choice of furniture!

Upcycled Vertical Succulent Garden

Using an old window frame I made a vertical succulent garden. I stapled hardware cloth to the window frame. Then we added a piece of plywood to the back. Black dirt was added next and ...»
various kinds of succulents. It will take about a month to fill in. This will come back every year. You can find a step by step tutorial on my blog. Happy Gardening!

A vintage suite case gets a new life as a pet bed!

By taking an old suitcase...and several other scraps from the house....I made a comfy little spot for my dirty little dog to lounge on. I love recycling anything that really can't be used for it's original purposes anymore #Bestof2012 #keepingcozy #recycle

  • Potting Bench Made from Pallets 7

Building a potting bench out of pallets.

Paintings I have done on large Styrofoam sheets. They weigh less than 8 oz and cause no wall damage to hang them.

These are all 4' X 4'

Tip for a smooth finish on your refinishing projects

I use brown paper for "sanding" between coats on all my furniture refinishing projects. No metal fuzzies from steel wool and no cost if using paper bags otherwise headed for the recycle bin. http://plumdoodles.com/2012/05/29/tipsy-tues...

Showers vs. Jetted Tub

Luxury showers quickly are taking over the space that was once devoted for the whirlpool/ jetted tub. What is your vote? Spacious Shower OR Relaxing tub?
