  • The chairs are identical. This is the "after."
  • Using Frog Tape, I was able to paint stripes on drop cloth using a custom mix of acrylic paint.
  • Simply wrap the existing cushion and either staple or use upholstery tacks to secure on the underside.
  • These chairs are now the end chairs in my dining room.

Faux French Grain Sack Chairs

Recently I found two chairs at the local church sale. Originally priced at $20 each, I got them for $7.50 each! I painted them in Old White using Annie Sloan Chalk Paint and distressed ...»
them slightly. The seat covers are actually drop cloth material that I painted to look like a French grain sack. More info on my blog.

Painting: What is the best way to paint old gym lockers?

I found a set of gym lockers along the road. I want to clean them up and give them a fresh coat of paint. Their new home will be in our office that we just finished.
