Bird feeder deterrent

After so long doing battle with squirrels attacking my bird feeder and trying everything possible, I resorted to doing something less expensive. I simply took packing tape, {sticky side ...»
outside} and so far they have not been able to get past it .I have watched it for 2 days and so far the birds are able to eat in peace the squirrels just pick up the seed that falls

We bought squirrel proof feeders similar to photos. Worked for awhile. Then we noticed the ...»
feeder on the ground so we put ties on it so it would not slip off the hook. Then we found the top off. He must have knocked the top off. So we put a screw in the top. Now they feed on the ground along with the bigger birds.

It's been 4 months and the squirrels still have not gotten into the birdfeeder. Its a pain to have to u.screw the top but worth it . And the plastic ties keepthem from knocking it off the pole.

flagstone patio with stonedust

We got this flagstone from a property being cleared (with permission). There was enough to do a patio off the deck and a pond with a patio. Here is the finish. That is polymeric sand in ...»
the joints. Now it needs to be sealed, wet look or just a glaze? We are not sure. What is best? We did the flagstone pond w/ patio last summer. That is stone dust in between the joints at the pond.

Garden Pond

Last time I posted I thought there were more photos. Here they are. I love listening to the waterfall, enjoying the plants and watching the goldfish.
