About Me:

I own my own home and I'm very proud of it. It's a two-story, with a total of 3800 sq. feet, hardwood flooring, and it's approx. 5-6 years old. With a 2 car garage. It is still in it's builder's state. It's time to decorate to my personal style, finally. It has two living room's one upstairs, one downstairs, 4 bedrooms downstairs, laundry-room, and baths, master on top floor with large bathroom and walk-in closet.. The house is a little too big for me but, I'll grow into it. I'm a DIY type of girl and always in search of changing my home up so it can rise up to greet me. I have a business I run out of my home as well. There's so many tweaks I'd love to do in my home but lack of terminology is holding me back! If only I could have the builder fairy come to my home and bless it with the touches I need. Life would be grand huh? It's just a fun project everyday!!

Favorite area of home improvement:

I love to landscape and used to be a master landscaper a few years ago. I aim for changing my master bedroom (quite often) other area's I enjoy messing around with are, my master bath, living room, dining room, and kitchen. I'm looking into adding an island to my kitchen. It's all white and I'd love to take a walk on the wild side and go with blue cabinets someday! And dark walnut hardwood flooring just in the kitchen. My goal this year is to get every single TV hung on the wall's like they were meant to be. I'm just not sure how it's done..YET!! :) I believe I should have been a interior designer in my first life...because I love interior design..

  • Faux walls, sconces added in background, crimson red walls create a dramatic backdrop for this renovated oak staircase. Designed and renovated by Ringelberg Construction LLC

By removing the wall that was making the foyer feel cramped, and adding new oak stairs and beautiful metal balusters, a

new and exciting vision was created. Previously, this area of the home was nothing special, but now it is a major upgrade to the home.

I have pergo/prego style hardwood flooring through out my home which is in a maple brown ( a ...»
lighter color) darker than the wood in the photo above. I'd love to know if I could paint it to a dark walnut brown? Is this possible? If so, how? Thanks :) I'm not paying for new floor's but would love to have the color changed..
